Bob Marley and the Wailers were a Jamaican reggae band created by Bob Marley, Peter Tosh, and Bunny Wailer.. Marley, Tosh, and Wailer started the band while the three of them lived in Trenchtown.

Bunny Wailer is not only known as an original member of reggae group The Wailers, but also because of his fantastic solo career. His second album Protest is full of solid reggae rhythms and conscious lyrics. gram audiophile vinyl Includes “Moses' Children”, “Get Up Stand Up”, “Follow Fashion Monkey” .

Bunny Wailer was a member of the Wailers for several year and upon leaving wanted to re-interpret many of the songs that Bob Marley and the Wailers cut in the 70's. And a great job he does. This stands as one of the great reggae albums in my book/5(5).

Righteous and seriously in the pocket, this is the last Wailers album with Peter Tosh and Bunny Wailer. Bob Marley's soulful cry is rivaled by the sticky organ riffs and fat-bottom beats, and their original version of ":IShot the Sheriff" is far more desperate than Eric Clapton's hit cover/5(98).
  7. Mijas says:
Bunny Wailer, Bob Marley, and Peter Tosh teamed up with Coxsone Dodd, and their career took off immediately with their first single, the anti-violence anthem Simmer Down. Early on, all members contributed songs to the group, which enabled the Wailers to continue without Marley after he left Jamaica in , to seek work for a time in the U.S.
